 Strategic Advisor – 2008-2010

  • Developed and a plan for the university  for an International Business Engagement Center.
  • Participated in work of team that developed the university’s International Capital Campaign including developing lists of projects totaling $53 million. Personally created “A list” of supporters and donors.
  • Directly responsible for building the Corporate Engagement portion of the UCosmic database (University of Cincinnati/State University of New York Online System for Managing International Collaboration – over 600 firms screened and included. Met with senior area and  international business executives to get their perspectives on how the university could best serve their ever-increasing global needs.
  • Developed  relationships with numerous international firms in the Midwest.
  • Worked to organize an international education summit at the university.
  • Member of the International Education Advisory Committee to provide input to the chancellor, University System of Ohio, on expanding international education at both the university and K-12 levels.
  • Hosted senior-level international business and academic groups at the university.
  • Result: agreements of cooperation with two of the university’s constituent colleges.
  • Worked with recruiters in Asia to increase undergraduate student enrollment at the university.

Mission included a conversion from a national member committee structure to a direct to the center membership organization.
